Founder and CEO

 

Memphis native, Marcus Malone, has been exercising his musical, entrepreneurial, and innovational skills since a very early age. At the age of 5, he started playing drums for his home church St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Later at the age of 12, Marcus started playing organ and piano, which launched his professional music career. He is currently the Organist at Mississippi Blvd Christian Church in Memphis Tennessee, New Friendship Baptist Church and Musical Director for Pastor Darrel Petties & Strength In Praise, and Musical Director for the Tri-State Defender “Best in Black Awards Show”. His prestigious talents have taken him coast to coast, performing with world renown recording artist such Donnie McClurkin, VaShawn Mitchell, Tamela Mann, Kurt Carr, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Hezekiah Walker, Lee Williams & Le’Andria Johnson just to name a few. Marcus has been afforded one of his dream opportunities, as he is theyoungest keyboardist to ever play for Old School Funk group Cameo. In 2015, Marcus signed endorsement deals with 3 major companies: Hammond U.S.A, Yamaha Corporation of America, 1964ears, and MONO. Marcus is also the founder of Church Girls Rock Memphis, an award ceremony that honors women of faith, and breast cancer survivors and those effected by the disease. He has appeared on BET Bobby Jones Gospel, all the local Memphis news stations, and on the current mayor’s weekly talk back show “The AC Wharton Show”. Marcus has been all around the world sharing his gift of music and now he feels it’s time to give back to the community. In June 2012, he started Total Experience School of Music which offers piano, organ, bass, lead guitar, vocal, woodwind instruments and drum lessons. Total Experience also made history in the town of Collierville offering the first ever-recording studio. Marcus' goal is to have several schools in the U.S and even overseas hiring musicians to teach every instrument. Marcus is motivated knowing “The Sky is not the Limit”to his career; and living by Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Marcus Malone

Terrica Clayton is one of our very talented Vocal Instructors. She is very passionate about teaching and understands all aspects of artistry and performance. She is professionally trained and has over 10 years of experience in classical and gospel music. Terrica has worked with all genres including opera and theatre music. She has also worked with all ages. She is knowledgeable in music theory and reading music. She has experience has a writer and an arranger. Terrica is also no stranger to the studio. She has experience of singing in the studio as well as engineering/producing in the studio. She has shared the stage with gospel artists such as Rance Allen, Dorinda Clark Cole, and Kurt Carr. She has aslo made an appearance on The Word Network.

Terrica Clayton

Leeland D. Thompson, a native of  Memphis, Tennessee, has been a lead and bass guitarist since the age of 8. He attended Jackson State University in Jackson, MS majoring in Music Education with a minor of Computer Technology. He is the biological father to Desmond, Dezrell, and DeJuan. He also has two children via marriage, Christian and Carter. Thompson has been playing professionally since the age of 18. He serves as the lead guitarist for Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, Tn. He has a vast resume' of local and national recording artists that he's accompanied live and on wax. Those artists include, but are not limited to Darrel Petties(live recording 2009), the Sensational Wells Brothers(studio recording), Full Gospel Baptist Church International via VaShawn Mitchell( live recording 2013), Alicia Diallo( live recording 2013) and James Fortune and Lisa Knowles (single recording 2013). He has also played for various artists including Kurt Carr, Anita Wilson, Ledisi, Maurette Brown-Clark, Bishop Paul Morton, Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Sheri Jones-Mofit and Ted Winn. He is currently working on several projects with various recording artists in studio.

Scotty Brown, a native of Mississippi, has been playing music for 20+ years. He has an extensive background in all types of music. His main genre is gospel and R&B. Scotty has played for several artists including The MS Mass Choir, Dathan Thigpen from Sundays Best, Darrel Petties and many other artist around the country. He has also traveled overseas with The BB Kings All-Star Band and other artist from all over the world.
